I don't know if the guys around the office cursed the trickle every time they washed (hopefully) their hands after using the restroom. Did they even notice? Maybe they didn't have the trickle, we girls had--which came sadly lukewarm and wimpy with little pressure and no enthusiasm from the silver spouts. We gladly and routinely put our hands under this disappointing stream that was supposed to leave us germ free and cleansed. But some may have took them away often prematurely. Who wants to their hands to linger under such an unmotivated trickle? Like taking a shower with no water pressure--the hands never felt quite clean.

This is major Gastro faux-pas! Did you know that not washing your hands (and not washing them properly) is not only nasty--but a great way to spread infectious diseases--including several not-so-nice gastrointestinal conditions, like, um, diarrhea. If you don't wash and you touch food? Don't even get me started.....
But today that all changed. See. When I turned on the water today--my hands were happy. The water gushed out, really warm and inviting. I lingered. I tried all the other facets--and the sound was like little waterfalls. OK, not really--but hey, after the trickle, this was indeed a hand-washer's heaven.
So if you haven't noticed--check out the restrooms. When you wash your hands, savor the high-pressured, eager and welcoming stream of water that embraces your hands. Careful, don't stay too long--there's lots of work to do.
You'll look forward to washing after you flush more now than ever and your co-workers will be forever grateful.
Forgot how to get good hand hygiene?
Follow these instructions for washing with soap and water:

Wet your hands with warm, running water and apply liquid or clean bar soap. Lather well.
Rub your hands vigorously together for at least 15 seconds.
Scrub all surfaces, including the backs of your hands, wrists, between your fingers and under your fingernails.
Rinse well.
Dry your hands with a clean or disposable towel.
Use a paper towel to turn off the facet
Oh, yeah. Forget to wash? Beware.
